Shopping for a PC for my Home Office
I needed a new computer for my home office. I didn't have a huge budget, but I was willing to spend up to $1,200 for the right PC. I went to Abes of Maine facebook site to browse computers in my price range. The site makes it really easy to search for computers by brands, screen size, touch screen, monitor resolution, processor type and speed, memory/RAM, drive speed and type, operating system, price, and more.
I really like the Dell PC's 23.8" large, but thin display. It makes working on presentations, writing emails, browsing the webs, and working in Excel super easy. My eyes aren't what they used to be and having more screen real estate makes my job a lot easier.
The screen has Full HD resolution, a nice matte finish, and wide viewing angles. It's also a touchscreen. I had mixed feelings about this at first, but now, after some use, I like the added convenience. I can just tap apps and access my files with a swipe of my finger.
This PC has a 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7-6700T Quad-Core and integrated Intel HD Graphics 530. So far I'm really impressed with the Inspiron 23's performance. For a high-end, budget-friendly computer it packs a lot of great features. I was expecting to spend upwards of $1,200, but I got everything I was looking for at $1000.
Initially, I was considering buying an external hard drive for additional storage, but the Inspiron 23 computer's integrated fast, 1TB hard drive offers plenty of space for my videos, albums, photos, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, and other files.
The Dell Inspiron 23 also comes with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. I love my Bluetooth headset and speakers and I'm glad that the Inspiron 23 has integrated this technology into its design.
I also like that this all-in-one computer came with a wireless keyboard and mouse. I didn't have to shop for those separately or have to worry about what brand to buy. I have always used wired keywords and mice, but having fewer cables in my work area and the ability to adjust my keyword without the fear of knocking over everything my desk is a welcome change.
I have been a long time Abes of Maine shopper. I usually go into the store on Lower Rd. However, I was really happy making this purchase online, using the Retail Me Not coupon codes for discount. The Abes of Maine site is super easy to navigate and the product descriptions are very informative. I couldn't be happier with my new PC!
